Dead Calm

Sitting in a sailboat in the middle of the ocean with no land in sight -- dead calm. That's me in the sailboat. No motor. No cell phone service. But plenty of food and water, so I'm actually handling it rather well. For now, the solitude is somewhat soothing. Although I am wearied by the passing of time, I realize that once I decide which direction I want to go...the wind will be there.

Seems as if you are where I want to be. I may have to tiptoe out of the door and run for the hills and a little solitude, in order to figure out where my path is.

Interesting you say that. I'm actually a little uncomfortable being here... Perhaps I should be thankful -- especially since my husband said to take as long as I like. Never thought he'd take that perspective, I guess. We'll see what lies on the horizon!

That looks wonderful.

Wonderfully peaceful...but, nonetheless, scary with no wind, whatsoever, and no sense of direction...no compass, no motor, no sign of land. Perfect setting for a good horror story, or, sci-fi - huh!
